2009 marks the 25th Anniverary of Dickens Village

In 1984, Neilan Lund presented the initial drawings for the Dickens' Village Series to Department 56. Seven shops and a church became the cornerstone of a series, which grew into a charming assortment of buildings and accessories, creating a modern decoration tradition. To commemorate 25 years of Dickens' Village, the artists of Department 56 designed a fresh new series of buildings based on the original 1984 introductions. These special editions are destined to become classics.

Although 2009 introductions, the first two pieces will be available in November. Be sure to reserve Crowntree Inn and The Neilan Lund Gallery today. Both pieces come with a bottom stamp to commemorate the 25th anniversary.

Susan Angelhope

Lighting the way to hope this season is Susan Angelhope. Resting on a copper-like candle holder, this sweet angel bear keeps a watch on the glow of the light above her.
