Though it may seem quaint now, in decades past, the May Day Basket—like the ancient act of dancing around the Maypole—was a widespread symbol of spring in the 

United States and other countries.

When will The Gift House Open?

We wanted to share with you our plans for the coming weeks as as we try to ease 

back into the swing of things. We will announce a plan of action for 

curbside-only service towards the middle of May. 

After a period of curbside-only service, when we feel 

comfortable and Jefferson County allows, we will let people visit us in-person.

The register area has been changed to practice social distancing along with markers on the floor.

Frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized often. We will be wearing masks and will require customers entering the store to please wear masks too for the safety of everyone inside our space. Thanks for your patience as we navigate through this uncharted territory.
